Administrators can grant users limited-time access to robots by inviting them as temporary users. Unlike standard members, temporary users can only access a robot or group of robots during a specific window defined by the administrator.
How to invite a temporary user
- Log into your account to access the My Awabot platform.
- Click Invite a temporary user.
- Complete the form with the following requirements:
- Email address: Enter the temporary user's email.
- Robot group: Assign the user to a specific group (required).

Start and end times: Set the date and time for the access window (required).
- Note: The schedule will reflect the time zone of the robot.
- Require session answer: Select this if the user must be answered by a person on the robot's end to connect.
- Select Include a link to the Awabot App if the user needs to download the desktop application.
- Click Invite to send the invitation.
What happens next?
The temporary user will receive an email containing:
- The name of the organization.
- Their assigned robot groups.
- The specific access times granted.
- Their username (email) and a temporary password (if applicable).
- A download link for the Awabot App (if selected).
The user's profile will be added to your users list. You can view or manage this list by selecting users from the main menu on the My Awabot platform.
