The Awabot Pro robot is designed to remain powered on at all times. If you need to store your robot, follow these guidelines to maintain battery health and ensure a smooth restart.
Storage guidelines
- Short-term (up to 3 months): You can safely store your Awabot Pro robot after performing a graceful shutdown.
- Long-term (6+ months): We recommend periodically charge cycling the Awabot Pro robot.
Note: Storing a Awabot Pro robot for more than 3 months without recharging may cause irreversible battery issues.
Shutdown instructions
- Guide the robot off the charging dock.
- Press and release the Power button located at the rear of the base.
- Allow the robot to power down completely.
- Remove the lid from the top of the base.
- Disconnect the battery cable.
