While robot is designed for remote control, you can move the robot manually using Push Me mode. This mode is active by default whenever the robot is powered on.
How to move the robot
For the best experience, follow these guidelines when moving your robot:
- Stand in front of the robot.
- Grip the robot firmly by the mast.
- Pull the robot toward you. We recommend pulling rather than pushing, as it offers better control and stability.
- Keep the robot level. Avoid tipping the robot while it is in motion.
Understanding resistance
The robot uses built-in accelerometers to detect slopes and will automatically apply reverse torque to prevent itself from rolling down an incline.
Notes:
- If the robot is tipped during manual movement, the sensors may mistake the tilt for a slope. This will trigger the brakes and cause physical resistance. To resolve this, ensure the robot is upright and level.
- Push Me mode is only available when the robot is powered on. When the robot is turned off, there is no resistance to movement.
- An unpowered robot can roll away on an incline.
