Awabot Pro robot - Driving speed

You have full control over your driving speed and sensitivity directly within the Awabot App. Please note that administrators cannot set or adjust speeds on behalf of pilots. 

Speed capabilities 

The maximum speed of your Awabot Pro robot is 2 mph. Speed is dictated by the slider described below. 

Note: Use the shift key to boost to top speed while driving.

How to set your driving speed

You can adjust your speed settings through either the desktop or mobile applications.

Awabot Desktop App

1. Open the Awabot App on your computer.
2. Go to the Settings menu.
3. Select Driving.
4. Adjust the Speed sensitivity slider to your preferred level.

Awabot Mobile App

1. Open the Awabot Mobile App on your robot.
2. Tap the Menu ☰ icon and select Settings.
3. Tap Driving speed.
4. Use the toggle or slider to set your desired speed.

Notes: 

• Higher speed settings increase battery consumption. For longer sessions, consider using a moderate speed setting.
• Some robots equipped with LiDAR automatically reduce their speed near obstacles.
