Note : The Mini Live OS USB is intended to bypass the internal SSD on Awabot One robots. It should only be used upon instruction from technical support, in the event that your robot's internal hard drive has been diagnosed as defective.
Required tools
- 1 Mini USB storage drive (8 GB or larger).
- The awabotone-live-disk-2.22.14 image file.
- BalenaEtcher software (recommended).
Step 1: Downloading the files
- Download the awabotone-live-disk-2.22.14 image file via the link provided by support (Google Drive).
- Download and install the balenaEtcher software (available at https://www.balena.io/etcher/).
Step 2: Flashing the USB drive
- Connect the USB drive to your computer.
- Open the balenaEtcher software.
- Choose the Flash from file option and select the downloaded image file (awanbotone-rescue-v2.22.14.img).
- Choose Select target and select the name of your USB drive.
- Click Flash to begin the process. You may be required to enter your administrator password.
- Wait for the "Flash Complete!" message.
- Close balenaEtcher and eject your USB drive.
