When the robot Awabot One is placed on its dock, the charging LED located on the front of the robot lights up blue or green.
Cause of the issue
Check the output voltage of the dock. The expected value is 12 V. If the measured voltage is correct, this confirms that the dock is functioning properly and that the issue originates from the robot.
Checking the dock
If the measured voltage is not correct:
- Make sure the robot is properly magnetically attached to the dock.
- Remove the robot from the dock.
- Unplug the dock's power cable from both the dock and the wall outlet.
- Verify that the wall outlet is working properly.
- Firmly reconnect the power cable to the back of the dock.
- Place the robot back on the dock.
Note: If you have another compatible power cable, temporarily replace the current cable and check whether the charging LED lights up when the robot is placed on the dock.
