By default, robot is configured to recognize only 5.0 GHz networks. If only a 2.4 GHz network is available, you must manually enable this frequency band.
How to enable 2.4 GHz
- Connect a USB keyboard to the robot.
- Awabot One: Port is under the face (screen/speaker).
- Awabot Pro: Port is behind the hatch at the back of the head.
- Open robot settings: Highlight Options and press Enter. (If setting up a new unit, press CTRL+Shift+D on the Language screen).
- Go to network options: Select Network Options.
- Change frequency: Change Frequency bands to use to Both 2.4 GHz and 5.0 GHz.
- Configure WiFi: Press Esc to return to the WiFi Setup menu. Select your preferred 2.4 GHz network from the list.
