A captive portal is a login page, common in public places, that requires you to accept terms and conditions before accessing the internet.
Method 1: WiFi (Recommended)
- In WiFi Setup, select the network and choose Share Connection > Share via WiFi.
- Connect a helper device (phone/laptop) to the Awabot robot's temporary hotspot using the credentials on the screen.
- Open a browser on the helper device, complete the login page, and the Awabot robot will connect.
Method 2: Bluetooth
- Select Share via Bluetooth in the WiFi menu.
- Enable Bluetooth Tethering (Personal Hotspot via Bluetooth) on your helper device
Note: Not supported on iPhone.
- Pair the devices and use the helper device's browser to clear the portal.
Method 3: Ethernet (Awabot Pro robot only)
- Select Share via Ethernet and connect an Ethernet cable between the Awabot Pro robot head and a laptop.
- Disable WiFi on the laptop and use its browser to complete the portal login.
